Invest in Canada set out to change perceptions—transforming the country from a scenic getaway to a powerhouse investment destination.
To make its case to global investors, the organization, alongside Ogilvy Toronto, enlisted Hogarth Worldwide to craft a high-impact suite of digital banners targeting five key markets: United States, United Kingdom, France, Korea, and Japan. The campaign spotlighted seven reasons to believe—quality of life, wealth of talent, innovation, global market access, competitive business costs, strong business foundation, and talent immigration. Each message had to be localized, culturally attuned, and flawlessly executed.
With over 300 assets to produce in less than six weeks, speed and precision were non-negotiable. Production kicked off with UK English and French assets while Korean and Japanese translations underwent additional refinement. To keep pace, automation tools powered seamless integration of copy and visuals, accelerating workflow without sacrificing quality.
Motion designers were armed with precise line break and punctuation guides, ensuring crisp, consistent animations across all languages—especially for East Asian assets, where character structure demanded pinpoint accuracy. Additionally, Korean and Japanese translators provided styled text and layout recommendations, optimizing every frame for horizontal, vertical, and square formats.

Hogarth delivered all 300+ assets in time for Q2 media flight dates, earning Invest in Canada’s confidence and securing a renewal for Q3 2021. More importantly, the results spoke for themselves. Canada attracted a staggering $74.8 billion in foreign investment—the highest level since 2007 and a 141% increase over 2020. That’s a 50% jump over the decade’s historical average.
The campaign itself fueled massive engagement, driving 984,000+ visits to Invest in Canada’s website and solidifying the organization’s reputation as a global investment powerhouse.
